Quality of priority cross-border letter mail service in Europe

1) In 2011, European letter mail service performance exceeded the European Union (EU) objectives for the 14th successive year. The International Post Corporation (IPC) postal measurement system showed that 93.0 % of letters were delivered within three days and 98.1 % within five days. This well exceeds the objectives set in the EU postal directives of 85 % in three days, and 97 % in five days.
